The new deal follows a handful of partnerships the global data specialist has signed in recent months, including with StudyPortals and other international education companies.
THE will seek to assist undergraduate and postgraduate students that visit the site annually with the exploration, application, and onboarding phases of international study opportunities.
“Together we can support more undergraduates and postgraduates than ever”
Those looking to study overseas will be able to opt-in to receive assistance from ApplyBoard from the site.
“ApplyBoard is one of the biggest names in global edtech and we’re delighted to be able to partner with them to further our goal of helping students find the right course and university for their international study ambitions,” THE CEO Paul Howarth said in a statement.
Meti Basiri, co-founder and chief marketing officer at ApplyBoard, said THE shares its vision of simplifying international students’ journeys into higher education.
“Together we can support more undergraduates and postgraduates than ever, taking the pain out of everything from finding the right university and course to obtaining visas,” Basiri noted.
“We look forward to working alongside THE as they grow in this space, at a more important time than ever for global higher education.”
“While COVID-19 has created significant uncertainty for students, young people engaging with THE’s world-famous data, rankings and editorial content still want to find the best institution for their studies, wherever that might be in the world,” Chairman, International at ApplyBoard Jo Johnson added.
“Together, by creating a seamless end to end digital journey that lowers barriers to participation in higher education, THE and ApplyBoard can ensure we’re doing our very best to help as many of these students as possible at this challenging time.
“Bringing together THE and ApplyBoard in this unique partnership will help more students benefit from life-changing opportunities to undertake international study.”
THE will reveal a new end-to-end platform for those looking to study abroad “in the near future”, Howarth added.
“With high-quality partners like ApplyBoard, we’re bringing together the best in the world to help students make one of the most important decisions of their lives – who to trust with their education. Our plan is to be there for them every step of the way.”
